birthday celebration #1

jared was so excited when he got home from school today to find his grammy dallas and grandpa dallas! they had driven in to town to get jared's birthday month of celebration started! when daddy got home from work, we went up to pappasito's for dinner. we had a great time eating lots of chips & salsa, fajitas, and brandon LOVED feeding himself the beans. he also liked feeding grandpa dallas' pants and the floor!

after dinner, we came back to the house for some fun car cakes and presents. grammy dallas made these little cakes herself! they were the cutest little things. the icing was so neat looking. we each picked out our favorite color. even brandon had fun eating the little car cake!

grammy & grandpa dallas got jared some new books to read. we love to read in our house and in the car! perfect gift!!!

and g.g. even had something ready for jared's 8th birthday party. we so wish she was here to see the look on his face when he opened up a box full of new vehicles.

grammy & grandpa dallas set the bar high on the rest of the birthday celebrations! we are so glad that they were able to come out!!! already counting down the days until our next visit!
