star wars/army toys v. sesame street characters
grammy carol called this afternoon to say she was up at her house down the street. we decided to skip the gym and go surprise her. jared and lauren's vivid imaginations had the star wars/army toys fighting the sesame street characters. not really sure who won, but they were entertained for at least an hour. of course during that same time, brandon was taking every toy out of the kitchen center and throwing it on the foyer floor. every type of food or the pots and pans. he realized that they made different sounds when they hit the ground. which only encouraged him more. and then he decided he would climb up and down the stairs. which made grammy carol a nervous wreck. i think on the inside she was relieved that james finally arrived and we all headed out for dinner together.
