panera does deliver!

i am milking this birthday week for everything that i can. it's nice not having to come up with an excuse to why i'm not cooking dinner again! plus, it's my week to eat all all the places that i love to eat at (although james would want me to write that i always get to pick where we're going to eat). tonight, james was running late and i wasn't up for taking the kids anywhere by myself. so i made them all sorts of random stuff (i'm a cool mom like that), and when james got home we talked about what we were going to eat. i said to him, "i wish panera delivered." i love their chicken caesar salad. yum. i can't even remember what distracted me, but it was long enough for him to go to panera on his own accord and pick me up dinner. well, technically panera didn't deliver, but james did! i love that man! and yes, i took a little bite out of my cookie before i took my picture. and just in case you were wondering, every bite had like 20 chocolate-y morsels in it!


then it was time for birthday surprise no. 4! before hot tamales, my favorite candy was sour patch kids. i would eat these big boxes until i couldn't feel my tongue. i know...i'm weird. i thought it was so cute that james had the kids pick a color and then make me a sour patch kid card. james made the little template, but they colored and wrote their own notes. lauren's looks more like a bear, but oh so cute! and jared helped brandon with his.

and after eating the box of sour patch kids, i think they are back to being my favorite candy again!
