church

even though james went to kansas this weekend for his grandmother's memorial service, i still managed to get up and get the kids up and out the door for church. and on time!

i ran into steve and katie in the lobby with baby james. they said that they were doing the baby dedication today, so i ended up sitting close to the front so i could try to get a picture of them. i wish that they would have told me before today. i would have brought my nicer camera. the lighting was not conducive to taking pictures, and for some reason i was having a hard time getting the pictures to not come out blurry. i was really sad about the picture i got of steve shaking hands with dr. young. had it not been blurry, it would have been an awesome picture.

lauren at g.i.g.l.

this morning i volunteered to help out in lauren's sunday school class. omg. i don't like that age group at all. there were two kids who would not keep their hands off each other. and then this boy and girl kept hugging and the little girl kept kissing his cheek. i kept trying to separate them. she would stick her tongue out at me and tell me that she's going to marry him. we went to the g.i.g.l. praise show. that was really cute. they have singers and dancers and the big puppets come out to tell the Bible story. lauren really loves this part of sunday school.

now we're at home waiting for daddy to call from the airport to tell us his plane landed. hurry up plane!
