great friends + guadalajara = :) lindsay

nydia and i have been talking for weeks about meeting for lunch at guadalajara so i could meet her new baby girl, elise. we FINALLY got a date that worked for both of us. and we were able to get another one of our friends, rosie, to come out with her daughter cadence.

while we were waiting on nydia and rosie to arrive with their kids, brandon (and mr. owl) and i hung out in the bar. look how dirty mr. owl is! he is very loved.


while we were chit-chatting, brandon got a hold of nydia's lemon. i love his facial expression. it looks like he doesn't like it, but he did. we ended up getting him some more!

i am so mad at myself. the whole point of the lunch was to be meeting elise and giving her a "welcome to the world" gift. i never got to hold her thanks to rosie hogging her the whole time! and i didn't even get a picture of rosie holding her or elise in her carseat. guess that is a good enough excuse to get nydia and i back together again! it was still a fun time and i enjoyed seeing the kids all play together.
