today we went and celebrated my friend kelly's (and her husband's) son turning 1! we were actually estranged for several years over some bad feelings, but then around easter of last year, i contacted her to see how she was doing. i had been having these weird dreams about her, so i decided to email her and see how she was doing. i was excited to find out that she was pregnant. for so long she had longed to find a wonderful man to marry and to have kids. i was glad that her dreams were coming true. her husband is really funny and a good cook...lots of butter! ha ha. it's been fun watching dion go from a baby to a little toddler this year. we had a fun time at his birthday party. 
look at this sweet little guy! brandon is such a sweet boy! he is always smiling and i just love the way his eyes light up when i come in the room. i love that he's so laid back. 
well, i thought he was smiling and giggling for me!
actually, he was going nuts for his big brother who was making faces at him through the playground set at chick fil a! he is his brother's #1 biggest fan! (which is why we are constantly asking jared if he's making good decisions! ha ha.)
