going on an egg hunt

this morning we made a trip to get lauren some new sandals to go with her easter dress for tomorrow. she found these cute hannah montana shoes. she keeps calling them "flip flop sandals." she comes up with the funniest names for things! i forgot to bring a yellow bow for her hair, so my selena said she would get her a new bow. we should have just went to hobby lobby, but instead we stopped at this boutique called ella bella. she got lauren this adorable headband. she also got her this huge clip on flower with rhinestones. the craziest.........it ended up costing almost as much as her easter dress and new sandals. ay ay ay. but lauren loves it, and that's what grammy's do for their only granddaughter!

we had such a fun time today, and the weather was gorgeous! the easter bunny and her partner in crime did a great job making it such a special day for the kids. and for us. we got to get out on the town for a few hours minus the little people. we went and saw tyler perry's "why did i get married too?" it was really funny! we really needed a good laugh after all the house drama we've been going through.
