today was our turn to volunteer in the nursery at church. we weren't really sure what to expect because we had never been asked before. we weren't sure if brandon would be okay "sharing" us with other kids, but to tell you the truth, he didn't really care that we were there. the little girls were so precious in their smocked dresses and monogrammed diaper covers. a few of them were attached to my hip the whole time. we found out that brandon LOVES to eat cheerios. lots of them. like more than his fair share of them! the ladies that work in the room full time said that he is always roaming the room looking for any that fell down from the other kids. no wonder he's not hungry when we pick him up!

going to church takes a lot of effort because get up early in the morning and then we're gone for a long time. so now we go straight home, eat a quick lunch and then lay down for a catnap. today we ended up sleeping for a good long while. you would think that we would wake up in a good mood, but not our little brandon. he was just all sorts of irritated. very rarely do you see him acting like this:
he really wanted to have control over his big brother's remote control r2d2.
jared finally got sick of his crying and gave it to him. what a sweet big brother.
