we normally put lauren and brandon in childwatch so they can have fun playing and we can focus on watching jared's baseball practice (instead of chasing brandon off the field or out of the parking lot and lauren seems to be breaking out in a rash every time she's out there). we were running late today so we had to stop and pick up chick fil a (we have a rough life). i got lauren and brandon settled at the picnic table, and i realized i had forgotten my drink in the car. i went back to get it and when i turned around to head back i see james pointing at the kids. i pulled out my camera really fast and snapped this picture. she is such a little sweetheart. i just love how she protects him. he is really lucky to have two very adoring older siblings. and yes, after this sweet moment...we had to chase brandon off the field, out of the parking lot and take lauren home early because she was breaking out in a rash. do we know our kids or what?!?!?!
