my sweet brandon was due for his 12 month check up and immunizations this morning. it broke my heart when he realized what was going on. the tears were just streaming down his face, and he cried like i've never heard before. vaccinating our kids has not been an easy choice for us. after all the controversy about the links between vaccinations and autism, we were really on the fence about whether to vaccinate or not. but we prayed about it and did our own research, and in the end we felt like it was important for him to have them. i should note...that even with the cry heard 'round the doctor's office, he was back to his smiley self by the time i picked him up to console him.

poor baby

aww, poor guy! Glad he recovered quickly!

ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of band-aids! Poor little guy. We look at each vaccine and weigh it's benefits vs risks, and ask for preservative-free versions.
