for the last four weeks, we have made it to church! i think that is a record for us since before having kids! thanks to my mom, if we miss lauren will say, "mom...it's your 'sponsibility to take us to church." anyway...the kids programs at our church are out of this world. jared's program is called JUMP! they started sending out an email this week with all the info about sunday's lesson and the bible verse with the hopes that the parents would get a JUMP!start on the information. i guess so they aren't hearing it for the first time at church. i get the email and immediately start going over the bible verse with jared. it only takes me reading it to him a couple of times and he knew it.

when he got up to JUMP!, he couldn't wait to tell his sunday school leaders and mrs. amy his bible verse. they were so proud of him. and we received the super awesome parent brownie points for following the directions!
james and i are more focused now than ever on raising God fearing children. we hope that our efforts now will pay off when they are adults.
Can't get over how CUTE he looks with his specks! So glad to hear he's enjoying church, and that you guys are so motivated to get there. :) It will pay off.

That's so awesome! Sounds like some thoughtful church leaders! I almost thought you meant that when they read the verse, the kids are supposed to jump! Either way, how cool that he's so excited!
ReplyDeleteJUMP! is a name of his Bible study class. lauren goes to GIGL (they pronounce it like giggle). hers stands for growing in God's love. sweet.
