i took this picture of lauren while we were playing uno dominos this afternoon. brandon was napping and jared was watching a movie. it is not often that just she and i get to spend some time together. sometimes i forget that she just needs a little one on one time with me. i need to be better about getting special time in with her.

this morning when i asked her to get dressed for church, she told me that she would only wear this sweater dress if she could wear her necklace from auntie crystal. i normally don't let her wear jewelry when she's not with me (i don't want to risk losing it), but she was so excited about wearing it (and matching it herself) that i couldn't say no. i'm such a sucker!
