i am so thankful that i asked g.g. if i could take a few pictures of her with the kids. i cry every time i look at this photo. i so wish that brandon's little hand would have been on her hand too. we are going to miss this special woman so much.
when she found out that james and i were dating, and that i already had a child...she told him that he was being trusted with a special gift from God and that he better take care of it. she accepted me into the family with open arms, and i just loved her the minute i met her. especially over the last few years since my grandmother passed from alzheimer's, she has been there for me. she has also loved my little sister too. i think it's so amazing that my husband's family fell in love with taylor too!
grandmother perked up when she saw the kids today. i'm so glad that we were able to make the trip up here to see her. we don't know how long she has. could be weeks, could be days. whatever it is, we hope that she knows that she is cherished.
