since jared started kindergarten, he has never missed a day of school. i don't think he's left school early but maybe three or four times. i think only one of those was because he wasn't feeling well, and the others were to catch a plane to kansas or roadtrip to my in-laws. so to get a call from the school nurse at 11 a.m. was alarming. he was so upset that he was leaving school early. he didn't feel good, but he said that he wanted to stay so he could get smarter! what a sweetheart. anyway, we came home and he ate his lunch and then fell asleep on the floor for almost five hours...all snuggled in g.g.'s handmade quilt and sleeping on his favorite star wars pillow from grammy carol.
